Cardboard Boxes, Peephole, Monitor and VCR.
Cardboard boxes are light, compact, accessible and easy to transport whereas
goldfishes, on the other hand, are living, fragile and transplanted organisms.
Physically displaced from their natural habitat, they are constantly adapting
and mutating in their new artificial home. In Box #5, 1997,
viewers are invited to look into the cardboard boxes through the peephole.
As digitally manipulated sound of aquarium water playing in the headphones,
viewers peep and experience the simulated world of 7 displaced others.
