Dotcumenta, 2000
Interactive
Multimedia CD-ROM

Dotcumenta consists of 4 quicktime videos, animation, photos, graphics of found objects, and stories. Using Kassel, Germany, the site of 1997 Documenta as the backdrop, the cd-rom
is a personal recollection of occurrences linking memory, art and travel as dots that piece together the remnants in my life at the time.

This project attempts to structure a personal interactive Cd-ROM movie experience based on the space-time relationship of simultaneity and interrelation. Using multiple media elements and multiple frames simultaneously and collaboratively layering the content, I want to replace the constraint of single media and single frame with interconnected and peripheral perspective to storytelling.
